Not sure if this is requested already (cannot find it).
See attached image. I have a roundabout on my property, hence the no-go zone in the middle (plants and trees).
I cannot select the no-go zone as a snow-throwing direction. I could solve it with cutting the area in 2 but I think that it would be generally easy if we could also throw snow in a no-go zone.
You could even create a no-go zone on your parking lot to accumulate all the snow. Or does someone have another idea?
I see what you’re talking about. Unfortunately I think the only work around is the one you identified. Split the work area and mapping around the roundabout.
I would say it shouldn’t be ignored. Separation from the pack is paramount. The faster the separation from the pack the better.
Implementing logical additions and programming tree extensions that complement and enhance work flow and efficiency. I can’t stand that the sidewalks make me reverse. Sometimes I want it sometimes I don’t.
This thing is a beast all the way around but there are some real head scratchers as if no one ever observed the unit preforming a work plan.
Seems like the logic for throw direction is on a NGZ, it just needs to retain the setting and actually do it. I like the suggestion of turning that on or off and when off it becomes a NO THROW ZONE.
The other option I think might be useful for this situation and I know I’ve heard talk about it before is to be able to tap a point on the map and have it deposit the snow there (or in the general vicinity).
Hi there, thanks for bringing up this topic. I’ve gone through the discussion here, and this is definitely valuable feedback. I’ll share it with our product team for further evaluation. Thank you for the great suggestion.
I just went to preemptively put no-go spots for the garage house porch etc… we could also use a way to edit the no-go areas after initial creation and saving:+1:
