Update on the snowblower pulley and belt cover. I dry ran the snowblower for 30 minutes without adverse effects.
The main reason for the design was to protect the pulley and belts from debris. I’ll have to wait for winter to prove long term benefit.
Two new additions are in fabrication mode.
One is a lawn roller that is affixed to the space between the back of the traxs. I’m hoping to smooth out the bumps.
The second are bowl shaped skids to replace the mower deck wheels. The hope is that skids will move more smoothly over the grass surface.
Isn’t retirement fun
I like the roller idea. Share pic of the concept? Though interesting, the skids I’m little more skeptical of
not very complicated. Just an adjustable spring loaded roller, weighted down by the battery and core unit.
likely very over engineered

Amazon wanted too much for a conveyor roller so I made my own.
The support brackets are plastic prototypes and the compression spring is much too weak but it seems like something that might just work.
Why use a big drum and water when you have a tank.
You need to get you some Pro RTK antennas for that beast!
Do they upgraded the standard core performance?
They definitely enhance GPS performance.
I’m not having an issue ATM but I love upgrades
