have no go zones be able to be defined using follow-me mode. Since starting my maps for the second time I have not been able to keep GPS signal to the rover. I have never wanted to whip something with a belt so badly as trying to drive pokey around a tree before losing GPS signal. Side note, why is driving around defining no-go zones in low speed in the first place?? much harder to maneuver. the first set up was not this hard. if it was it would have been returned.
If you use the physical controller paired to your phone you can map and switch speeds. Follow me mode wouldn’t work for mapping no go zones if GPS is poor. The mapping process is extremely sensitive to GPS fluctuations because it has to be to build an accurate map. You can use templates for the no go zones. Just drive the rover to where you want a no go zone and then drop a template. Check with the rover once it is in place to make sure it covers everything you want it to.
You can drive at high speed when mapping if you use the physical controller instead of the phone controls. However, I personally find it easier to maneuver at low speed with the phone.
Dang @bryan.wheeler beat me to it haha
I agree with this. Low speed will also produce more accurate maps IMHO.
You can also map at high speed when using your controller in the app.
