No pattern option - just cut

A pattern is great for bigger lawns. I live at a farm and we have three big lawns where I love the pattern, but we also have smaller areas, around the mailbox, along the stables etc. where Yarbo takes unnecessary long time sticking to the pattern. And those places are often with obstacles, so to stay clear and stick to the pattern often takes 7 or 8 forward and backwards, sometimes ends up with the Yarbo giving up. If it was just able to cut where it hasn’t been yet, that would fix it and make it way more efficient.

Another feature Im really missing is the ability to make a cutting path. We have a big lawns and in the corner there are 7-8 bushes. There’s room in between, but it gets stuck. If I could record a cutting path, it could handle that easily. It could also be very useful for areas where there’s little room. Like just going straight along a wall or a fence.

These two features would be quite easily integrated via software and would make a MASSIVE improvement very fast.

I live in Norway. Very satisfied and impressed, just a bit frustrated that I have to choose a pattern.

Keep it up!

“Cutting path” sounds a lot like one-way Sidewalks on the snowblower. The mower already has a zero turn Sidewalk: Deadend.

Is it time for Sidewalks to be brought to all modules as advanced Pathways?

@info1 The Deadend is used for corners, along fences, tight spots, and so on. Have you used those? It can be a “Cutting path,” but it reverses, and turns should be kept minimal.
