Optimal speed for longer run time

With a big storm coming my way tomorrow I want to get the longest run time I can out of each charge. I have a very large circular driveway which usually can’t be done on one charge.

I have the auger set to balanced, but what is the best speed setting to get the most out of a charge.

Thanks!!

Quiet is the best, but it really depends on the amount of snow and the type of snow. Speeding up the core speed can help with efficiency too. I found medium speed and turbo work good for me. I can usually get 2 passes of the driveway on one charge. If it’s a lot of snow, I can typically get one pass, recharge, and a second pass after.

Hi there, thanks for your question!

Auger Speed Mode
Recommended settings are Quiet or Mild. Both light and heavy snow can be cleared with no speed restrictions when using these modes.

Robust and Turbo modes are generally used for clearing wet snow, but they have speed limitations and are only usable at Slow or Medium speed.

You can also refer to Bryan’s suggestion for some reference, to see if it applies to your situation.
