Option to continue when Trimmer line feed error occurred

I would suggest adding an option in the Yarbo app to continue a plan when a Trimmer line feed error occurs. I noticed that my Yarbo stopped its plan due to a line feed error and remained at the same location for the rest of the day.

It would be helpful if the app provided one or both of the following options when a line feed error is detected:

  • A user-selectable “Continue Plan” button that allows the task to resume with Trimmer disabled for the remaining fo the plan.
  • An automatic recovery feature that waits for a configurable period (for example, 5 minutes) and then resumes the plan automatically disabling the Trimmer for rest of the plan until user renables it after clearing the error.

This would help prevent an entire scheduled plan from being abandoned because of a temporary line feed issue.

An auto option would be nice. You can disable the trimmer in work preferences and in the area settings too if you do want to disable it and move on.

Yes, there are a lot of things we could do manually, but that’s not what we should expect from autonomous devices. It’s absurd that my Yarbo sat in front of the lawn all night just because it encountered a trimmer line feed error. That’s not a good user experience.

Temporary issues shouldn’t cause the entire operation to stop indefinitely. The system should either recover automatically or provide a simple way to resume the task without requiring constant user intervention.

Thanks for sharing your suggestion. I’ve moved this topic to the “Suggestion and Feature Requests” category to see if more users share the same interest in this feature. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts.

I agree with the need for this option. It is annoying, especially when it occurs overnight when I am not monitoring the mower.
