Does anyone know if the body is able to run, planned route as if mowing but without the M1 attachment? Say I want to tow a weed & feed spreader to the back, but don’t need the Mower to be on or at least detached ? Maybe Yarbo can have a button on the planned route to disable module , so we can detach. I realize the Rover battery last longer when the mower is off of course.
The backing is the issue. It will jack knife any implement. Tow mode is coming. But no ETA.
That can be achieved if the route uses no reverses, but instead use lane skip U-Turn. The Yarbo would reached the end, instead of turning, and backing up, it would Turn a wider turn skipping 1 lane, going onto the next, when it reaches the end of the boundary, but this time to it would loop back to the lane it didn’t cover. Round 1 it would do 1-3-5-7-9, on return route it would do 6-8-4-2-0. No reverse.
Have you used U turns? It still backs up from what I’ve seen.
heck it backs up for no reason when it starts a work plan…
Yes I have, but if Yarbo can change the parameters of U-Turn , it may work. I’m not sure why it backs up on u turn, almost like Smart turn, that’s why I haven’t pulled the spreader yet. I’m still , perhaps I can make him a pusher
, instead of a puller.
Until Tow mode is released, you can always hook up the spreader and drive Yarbo manually.
Certainly not ideal….
Yeah it certainly doesn’t make sense how U turn actually works.
