Thanks to the sage advice of several forum members, my Yarbo (nick name pending… Mannheim Snowblower is at the top of the list) has it’s own shelter.. 2 weeks ago there was 18” of snow where it is parked.
Definitely recommend some pavers or something hard in front of the dock for it to zero turn on and keep from digging ruts in the dirt.
It is only about 18” from the sidewalk. Not worried about the dirt or grass as it is all getting ripped up this summer and a breezeway being constructed between the house and the garage to more safely facilitate my wheelchair commute to my shop. I do not have anything mapped due to the DC not being at it’s final location on the roof of the garage; it is temporarlliy on the black tripod next to the DS; only clearing snow using the controller due to windows on vehicles and buildings near the sidewalks and driveway with the uncertainty of which way the spout will be aimed on a plan..
Congrats on the doghouse. Your Yarbo will love you for it.
So you’re not planning on running Yarbo automatically this season?

would need snow… all seasonal indicators say chances are slim … my rose next to the house is budding and my rhubarb patch on the far side of the garage is already pushing up through the mulch. Really hoping winter doesn’t come storming back into the area yelling “And 1 more thing…” as it would be detrimental to some of my garden flora.

garage roof is not wheelchair accessible.. not asking any of my amateur radio friends to risk themselves unneccesarily in the winter to mount the DC. Spring will be here soon enough.
I am really hoping that they get the logic for the chute direction debugged so we can actually have it discharge in the direction we choose by the time my DC is mounted and I can start mapping.
Bite your tongue!!! That’s not a Dog House. It’s a Yarbo resting facility!!!
