So there is a new core for the pro?
Same core, new module.
That’s what I was understanding. But why is the pro core 5999 vs the current core is 4299.
100 super early bird modules. Will be interesting what that price point is.
I have about 3 acres that’s been hay but needs to just be mowed now. Would love to see how the new module handles it. I’ve only had yarbo a week and it’s been great but I can see where the upgrade would probably do a better job.
Yeah I think we should get. Trade in value. I live in south ga. We have st Augustine grass. I have to run Yarbo on the slowest speed and have an over lap. It still bogs down.
If not I’ll sell
My module online to recoup the cost. For what these cost they need a trade in program.
Interesting that 100 lucky users will get the new modules, but no upgrade offers for we current users. Also since no improvement in hill mowing…I’ll wait for that software update. I know the hardware is capable…it’s just the software …

The M1 pricing has been reduced and the M1 Pro is about $1k more than the old M1 pricing. That’s why the package deal for each is such a difference in costs.
I would not be surprised if they offer some preorder discounts, but yes it appears there will only be 100 super early bird discounts. All will be revealed tomorrow in the live stream.
$2299 is a lot more than I was expecting. Especially when the competition (which granted is yet to be proven) is that much. Could have a second functioning machine going after the tough stuff for the same price.
I’ll be interested to see whether there’s any kind of non-pro blade upgrade or what the discounts look like.
Somewhere I saw it mentioned that the new blade system is not compatible with the current M1.
An upgrade from the M1 to the Pro would be great, something to bring that price point down.
To your point there’s significantly more discount being offered in the bundle for the M1.
Mower Pro bundle = $5999
Mower M1 bundle = $4299
Difference $5999 - $4299 = $1700 even though the module difference is $1100.
Mower Pro module = $2299
M1 module = $1099
The core standalone = $3999
$3999 + $1099 = $5098 so M1 bundle saves $799
$3999 + $2299 = $6298 so Pro bundle saves $299
Today is the big day. I would maybe purchase one, but I already paid for a Lymow for less cash and a full mower, not just an accessory. They may have over priced this one by a x2 factor.
For that price I’m happy to let them keep it…
“paid for a Lymow for less cash and a full mower”
Not just less cash, 1/2 as much! And 45 degree slopes looks pretty interesting, wonder how it actually does on slopes?
Only problem I see is that it’s where Yarbo was about 2 years ago…so you may have a few (or a ton) of startup issues with Lymow depending on how a) good the engineers are and b) how well the product is being tested, and c) how well funded they are.

I actually pre-ordered early last year. After Inlooked a bit deeper at the design O started seeing all the problems. The disc/blades were a glaring weakness. Then I thought, how is this thing going downhill with jnow braking system. I kept seeing more issues. I decided to cancel my order. It well over a month to get the order cancelled as I kept getting the run around. Finally I had to acquiesce to their demands and explain my concerns. The order was cancelled shortly after. I have been watching ever since. All my concerns were have sinve been confirmed by real world reviews. Now, the Pro model comes! It seems to answer all my concerns. So, what’s the problem now?
Trust! I have no trust in companies that falsely adveritses a product. Furthermore, on two occasions that have released an upgraded version screwing the people with the orginal version as no remedies were offered to make their equipment work as advertised. In fact, I have no doubt that the pro will falter as well based on Yarbos’ track record. It might be time to contact an attorney for the early adopters and end the company they helped start. We were all sold lies on top of lies. Some of got out in time. Others, paid a hefty price for an attractive yard decoration/landscaping destroying machine.
If, I’m being honest, I was just about to buy the pro. Then I read some of the comments here. Thanks for rinding of the history of Yarbos’ lies, false promises, and abandonment of customers that bought the lies.
Wow Lymow looks promising https://youtu.be/EWspDqJJAuU?si=Xs5sIx_MzVpRjtg1
I have no connection to them, but that speed and cut quality looks very nice.
Agree, they should provide a trade-in option. What are we supposed to do with the previous model? I understand every lawn is different, but their advertisement claimed it would work on the previous lawn module. When we used it, it clearly didn’t fit our needs issues over issues. Then they release a new module, deliver it in the off-season when we can’t use it, and by the time we use it. probably with repeating issues, and we would past the return window. Support is a complete waste of time, just fix the damn software. Yarbo needs a whole new development team.
Just look at the features section… Everything in the accepted new feature in development sound pretty much like a joke outside of the smartvision…
Options to turn light on and off..
Drive straight
lock screen on IOS.
very light weight stuff that should not take very much time or effort..
Why is there not a proper issue tracker.. a list of known issues and some sort of resolution tracker for the issues…
From the outside it looks like they have very sparse resources and they are likely aimed and creating new revenue rather than support the existing product line.
The pro model will only introduce more problems to add to the list of issues that are not getting addressed in a timely manner.
There just seems way more effort is being put into new products and features rather than fixing anything existing.
Just because we as customers don’t see an issue tracker or resolutions tracker doesn’t mean they don’t exist.
Microsoft, Apple, Tesla, do any of those companies show their issue trackers?
Unfortunately those sort of things wind up being used by the competition to sell their products.
Short of signing confidentiality agreements those things are not likely to see the light of day outside the company.
Could communications be better? Absolutely.
I personally feel the release notes are getting better. Some stuff is sneaking in unannounced. Which to me was surprising. I retired from a mature software development environment and I can remember times before the proper delivery mechanisms were in place that some things snuck in. WHICH IS BAD. If someone can sneak some code into your delivery stream to fix something they can sneak some code in to break or steal something.
Those realizations usually come in time as a company matures in my experience.
Thank you for your feedback — we truly understand your concerns.
Please rest assured that we are currently focusing on optimizing some of the major issues affecting the user experience. The feature board you’re referring to is primarily meant to provide a general view of the progress on user-submitted suggestions and feature requests. However, we’re also working actively on areas beyond what’s listed there.
For example, we’re developing improvements to our positioning system through dead reckoning algorithms, and further exploring visual-inertial odometry (VIO) to enhance GPS performance. We’re also strengthening visual dataset training and introducing depth estimation models to improve the visual system and obstacle avoidance accuracy.
That said, we fully acknowledge the need to improve transparency and communication with our users — especially regarding known issues and ongoing optimizations. Your input helps us better understand what matters most, and we’re truly grateful for your continued support.
How is the front camera on the Pro model? On the regular mower module, the front camera always seems blurrier than the side camera of the Core. When vision plays such a critical role, the front camera really needs to be great.
Something below it should have. Or we will have Pro 2 module sooner!!!
Navigation System:Pure Vision FSD (camera-based smart vision)
Number of Cameras: 3 (for 3D and full-surround perception)
Use:Navigation, obstacle avoidance, visual mapping
on one of the livestreams, it was mentioned that the Pro had upgraded cameras. I don’t know any of the technical details though.
