The livestream teaser for tomorrow really looks to me like it probably says “Industry Leading LIDAR”, so wondering if that’s going to be part of the mower pro?
What you are seeing is the data stream bitrate being adjusted down to account for latency and or over saturation of the bandwidth. HaLow signal prioritizes the RTK RTCM correction data and other communications relevant for the core to operate over the video stream. The further away you are from the DC too will also affect the quality as a result.
They can achieve 3D with the dual cameras. Just like your 2 eyes. As for some type of FSD, well I think you are implying something like VSLAM. That is on the long term roadmap which will really help with NO RTK navigation, OA, and visual mapping. The 3D vision which is projected near term will also really help with OA.
The cameras are the same AFAIK but they are oriented higher so they can see things up higher (think suspended objects).
LIDAR will not be part of the PRO. Not sure what that is about.
It does see suspended objects (at least branches with leaves that hang at the level of cameras). And when there is a small slop/hill/bump and in front there is a hanging branch (even if it is above the camera level), since the robot is angled up, it sees the branches as obstacles… So I have no doupt if they angle up the cameras it will see the obstacles.
It also sees light hitting the ground through the trees as an obstacle. Spot of light in the tree’s shadow. That caught me off guard. What the heck is that obstacle Yarbo just put on the map. Apply shoes, walk the field. Spot sunlight on the ground at the marked location.

uhh… OK…. Guess it’ll mow that spot next time.
Yes that too. I switched two areas because of that so the one that gets those false alarms is mowed in the afternoon instead of the morning.
Anyone with the Pro model - could you please test its mulching performance on fall leaves? I don’t expect them to be in your yard right now, but if you have a large lot where leaves have blown or put aside, it would be great to see whether the blade can handle them and if it has sufficient RPM to cut effectively.
Do we have a specs what is the max rpm? the faster it is the best it is.
I haven’t received my pro model, but my tulip trees are already dropping their leaves. As soon as I get my unit, I’ll post pictures.
I’m definitely going to be testing on leaves and basically minor brush cutting/very long grass at this point😁
Still not a single mention of slope improvement or battery management improvement to not leave the battery sitting at 100%. So much for listening to the customer.

It looks like the Mower Pro is now saying “In Stock” and “fast delivery in 3-8 business days” in the Yarbo store. Fingers crossed!
@Yarbo-Forum I certainly hope you don’t plan to ship someone that orders today the Pro before those of us that have been waiting for months get ours!! More marketing nonsense or is the product page correct?
Yarbo can’t implement everything each customer wants. I have seen some of the craziest requests for the most edge use cases. So just because they didn’t include some you (and probably I) wanted doesn’t mean they aren’t “listening to the customer”. There’s plenty in the new update that many customers have been asking for.
Hi Mike, please rest assured that deliveries will be arranged strictly according to the date the order was placed. We’ve already shared your concern with the relevant team, and the information on the official website will be updated accordingly. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Has anyone tried leaf mulching yet? Even with just a small amount of leaves, it doesn’t seem to mulch well, that was my concern from the start on the pro module.
They RUSH new product launches with less testing.
I don’t know that the pro was designed or advertised as a leaf mulcher? Mine mulches them, but it depends on the leaf, how big/wet they are, how fast you run it, and what you consider “mulched”. Are there smaller leaf pieces when its done? Yes. Are the leaf pieces as small as a gas powered behemoth makes them? No.
Mine seems to mulch nearly as well as a regular mower. Something I did play with the other day is changing the blade height. When lower, ~<3” the blades seem to pick up much better. At 4” the blades are nearly touching the bottom of the deck so I don’t think they can create really any suction.
So mulches sorta ish… ![]()
Thanks for the insights. I was wondering.
