Quick question, Why?

So I wanted to try the trimmer on weeds as I was mowing with pro mower.

I set boundry obstacle avoidance off

Gentle contact

ultrasonic sensors off

Started the plan and the first clump of weeds it sees it stops and says “obstacle detected”.

Is this something because the trimmer is installed?

Shouldn’t be. Sounds like a bugged OA being still enabled on the back end. Toggle it again, save, toggle again, save. See if that smacks it around enough.

I stopped it, ended the session, checked the settings to be sure they were correct. Started the session again, it did the same thing, so I ended it again. Then I manually mowed the grass clump with the pro mower, then moved it back in the same spot and tried the session again and it was ok now that I mowed it. Very odd.

Sounds to me like the ultrasonics were still being used.

So your saying they now work so good that they can detect when turned off, lol.

A couple more verses and you could have a song. Something with a broken down… truck, grandma, reindeer and few gin and tonics, maybe a three hit wonder.

And the oatmeal raisin cookies are mine

Could you please check your Obstacle Avoidance settings and see whether the “Use Vision” feature is enabled?

If it hasn’t been disabled, there’s a possibility that it may be contributing to the behavior you’re seeing.

Could you show me a screenshot picture of this setting?

Mine is different.

We don’t have that setting @Yarbo-Forum

Any other suggestions?

Pro vs M1. You can’t disable vision with the Pro?

Makes sense. I just checked my settings (M1) and I also see the “Use Vision” option.

I guess yarbo forum doesn’t read well, I said in my post it was the PRO mower.

It also begs the question why the Pro mower doesn’t have the vision toggle as well. It used to.

I was thinking the same. Did they burry it somewhere else?

Not that I can find it.
