I’d like to recommend a rear-mounted range extender battery module for the Yarbo mower. Adding an identical unit (38.4Ah NCM Li-ion battery) would effectively double the runtime while improving balance by offsetting the weight of the front-mounted attachments. The module could theoretically make use of the existing rear power input for a true plug-and-play, quick-add solution, enabling easy installation and battery swaps. To maximize versatility, the module could include an integrated thermal management system—a fan for cooling during longer/warmer mowing sessions and/or heating element for optimal cold-weather performance. By sharing the load between two batteries, the module could also reduce the number of recharge cycles on the primary battery, potentially extending its overall lifespan.
…and put a rear bumper on it.
Boggles the mind why the core doesn’t have rear bumpers and ultrasonic sensors. Cheap insurance. Especially when vision is still being refined. If the leaf blower was able to be rear mounted, we’d at least have a rear bumper in that configuration. Still hoping that feature isn’t abandoned.
Wholly agreed. There’s entire areas I keep it away from, because I know it will eventually back itself through a ground-level window and fall into a basement.
One billion percent!!! Straight to the front of product development map. I only have the blower for now and can already tell the battery is underpowered.
Hi there, thanks for sharing your idea. At the moment, we don’t have plans for this in the short term, but if more users show interest, I’ll be sure to pass your suggestion along to our product team for consideration.
