Slope Detection for Lawnmower

Considering the fact that Slope Detection is not something that everyone needs it should be a user initiated mode! Have Slope Detection as a on/off option per user’s needs!

Hopefully the current slope algorithm will be refined and won’t be necessary to slow down so much long term. This option wouldn’t need to exist if it’s only a temporary stop gap.

Thanks for your feedback! I’ll pass your suggestion to the relevant team. We’ll also continue to optimize the slope mowing performance to better suit user needs.

Maybe give us cut and paste multiple parallel deadends so we can cut slopes until you have a better slope algorithm? Some this season would be very welcome!!
Right now slope cutting autonomously is not good for >30 degrees…

Absolutely Ken! An even easier (software job) of doing this is a small edit to your picture. Just map ONE deadend, and cut and paste N number of added deadends to the right or left of the one you just drew.

Caveat - if the left-side vs halow-side matters, there’s a chance that this idea might only be reliable from the direction opposite of that image.

Maybe not, but the offset of the primary position point might matter.

Agreed but dead ends don’t force the left antenna rule. As long as it works reliably, there shouldn’t be an issue doing it in that direction.
