Smart Vision Uses...

Curious about the Smart Vision features…

I’m patiently awaiting the Pro Module, so Yarbo has yet to be introduced to my lawn. I am wondering if I could use the Smart Vision feature while Yarbo is (FINALLY) cutting my lawn (SOMEDAY*).

Anybody know if this option is available on the M1?

Being able to see where Yarbo is, and having an up-close look at my lawn would be an excellent feature! I own a couple of robot vacuum cleaners that have such an option.

Side Note: Gosh, you truly don’t realize how dirty your floor is until you see it through the eyes (cameras) of a robot vacuum!!!

*Did I mention that I’m patiently waiting? :hourglass_done: #whereartthouProModule

Currently you can’t see the cameras while Yarbo is working. But you can see through the cameras on Smart Vision and drive around with Yarbo at the same time.

They are working on getting it working so you can see the cameras when Yarbo is working.

I’d like to add that the image is often not very clear. The lens is positioned too far out so it gets many reflections from the sun. The image is also not the most sharp, it needz a few seconds to become less pixelated. It’s enough to drive Yarbo to a spot if you can make do with the lag on images coming through.

Related is AI vision but it is not a thing today. I tested obstacle avoidance just half an hour ago and Yarbo started shredding the lawn with zero point turns until it gave up because it found no path. That was the first thing it did in the mowing session.

I would love a similar widget like the small map view on the app screen of where Yarbo is on the map. Pretty slick of that new addition on the main screen.
You should be able
To control every aspect of the core or module from the Smart.Vision location. Albeit a side pop out menu or whatever. There are a lot of back and forth between locations in the app to access local functions that would make sense when utilizing Smart Vision.

Another enhancement that would be handy is a double tap on an image to make it full screen and double tap to put it back.

Kind of like tapping the back image to swap front and back only full screen.

I wish I knew how to code form them. I’d be all jack up on Mountain Dew just ripping out juiced up functions! Updates every 12 minutes.
