Snowblower auger loose?

Yeah, I don’t blame you for chickening out. 28” is one heck of a forecast!

Yeah we supposedly actually did get that amount of precipitation drop. But it was mostly freezing rain/sleet/wintery mix. If it was actual snow falling, it would’ve easily been 28 inches. Instead we got a good snow storm followed by the wintery mix that left a big turned to ice on top of the snow. Thankfully it didn’t stick to the trees or power lines, just to the fallen snow. And, thankfully Yarbo worked through all of that. The driveway was clean and what little remained the sun immediately took care of. Kids have been out of school all week and they already closed on of the counties schools here Monday and Tuesday. The main roads are fine but the neighborhood streets are still a mess. The south doesn’t do well with this type of weather.

The winter tracks do provide better traction and can help reduce slippage. As Bryan mentioned, we recommend using the winter tracks for snow-blowing operations.

Whether to keep or remove the metal studs depends on your specific situation. If you’re operating on more delicate surfaces, it’s generally recommended to remove the studs. On the other hand, the metal studs can help improve performance on icy surfaces by providing additional grip.
