Snowblower Tread - Correct Orientation

Looking at that it’s still difficult to tell since there isn’t any reference point if the core in the picture. It’s just a zoomed in picture of the track.

Look at my pictures and then look at the picture in the how to. Which one is easier to tell?

If you are facing the front of the core, you should see the Yarbo logo look just like the picture. I agree, a better photo would be ideal.

I just oriented the ‘Yarbo’ wording on the snow tracks the same as the wording on the regular tracks.

This picture below is simple and easy to understand. I don’t know if it’s correct, though.

Instead of describing where to stand and observe and what to look for, just show that picture.

It is backwards. See the Yarbo logo upside down on your left track?

I see that.

I’ll swap them and provide a clean picture. Maybe you could add it to the how to.

I will definitely ask them to add it. I was going to snap a picture when I swapped mine.

I agree. The instructions could be clearer. The images are hard to decipher. I struggled with this as well.

I did too until I noticed the logo and was like “why aren’t they advertising this?”

The pic @Greg posted would be perfect if the tracks were oriented properly. No offense Greg I made the same mistake.

Oh I got really good at replacing tracks the first time I put them on. Kept screwing up something.

Now I need to go outside and check my Yarbo before the snow hits later today!!

Not gonna lie I stood starting at the manual(s) for a hot minute. Spaghetti brain. I got lucky after looking at @bryan.wheeler YARBO wording on the tracks tip. That helped immensely.

Hell yeah @Greg !

@Greg for the win!

As a strategy -

You either want more traction to get into trouble until you get stuck,

or you want more traction AFTER you’re in that trouble and need to back up.

There’s no wrong answer, but if you pick the “best traction forward”, it’ll always be on you to rescue the core. OR, you can have it get stuck more often, but be able to extricate itself without you caring.

Either / or, both are good. Just know which is what.

I thought the blower manual was sufficient , the halo antenna helps as a reference point

That was ultimately the one I ended up using because everything else including their video was confusing or backwards.
