Request for an update to be made to faults, alerts, suspensions, failures, etc.
Since taking ownership of Yarbo I have submitted tickets and have seen others submit with recorded diagnostics and screen recordings etc
However, I just about always get a support response that says “please provide the exact date and time this issue occurred.” In the attached screenshot this was a ticket chain AFTER I submitted recorded diagnostics and screen videos.
I am requesting that when an alert shows up on the screen it also stamp it with the date and time it occurred, then the question would not need to be asked. If it is an alert like slippage and the user goes out and sees yup slippage then he or she isn’t going to submit a ticket logically. But if it is an error then when they go in the app to check on Yarbo and find an alert it will show with the alert when it occurred, screenshot, ticket, done…no more wondering when.
When a user runs Yarbo in a plan and leaves the app they come back to the suspension alert, they don’t know when it happened unless they were watching live. When the alert goes up please have it timestamp itself. It would aide all parties.
Very much so. The question is constantly asked and is one of the many delay inducing requests, often requiring an additional 24 hours for response even when the ticket was made within 20 minutes of the malfunction.
Thank you for your valuable suggestion. Adding a timestamp to alerts would definitely make it easier when requesting support. I’ll forward this to our product team for consideration. We appreciate your feedback!
@Yarbo-Forum - All notifications/events should specify the “what” as well as the time and whatever other tidbit of information would be good in a quick notification – info you’d want “at a glance” on your phone’s lock screen.
For example, when a Work Plan finishes, we get a notification, but it does not say what just finished, maybe also say how much battery left in case you want to send it out again somewhere.
And – not sure if these already mention the specifics, just throwing out examples:
If something happens, like a collision or getting stuck, it should say “what happened” and at/near which mapped item.
If you have more than one rover managed by the App, it should say which one.
Just tidbits. Don’t need notifications that are paragraphs, like my posts and comments.
