Looking for some tips and advice to help me map. I got a little fed up and just turned the trimmer on the entire perimeter. lol. I can’t get Yarbo to make horizontal paths when mowing, it’s always angles. I’ve messed with the route angle and nothing.
The weird blank space at the bottom of the map is my kids playset, should I map through it and then make a NGZ?
Is there a way to make a map strictly for trimming seeing that the mower acts differently with the trimmer?
I messed with it a little, I still have a lot of tweaks to do, just don’t want to spend an entire day mapping. For now it’s just a section of the backyard, I still have more mapping to do.
TIA
Turn off the trim edge (yellow line) and make a memory path instead. You basically map manually trimming with it and then it plays it back. However, to truly change the behavior, you have to complete remove the trimmer. Even disabled, it will still affect its turning logic and other behaviors. Unplugging it and leaving it on isn’t advisable either.
As for the mapping, you can split the long smaller sections into their own areas and maybe make the pattern more to your liking for the bigger area. You don’t have to map it again to do it, you can split the areas using your fingers in the app now (draw mode). Save your maps first, before you do any editing so if you don’t like it, you can restore (and have to set all your settings, work plans, schedules, etc back if you do restore).
