My BBM was delivered today. Hurray!
Unfortunately, I’m not going to be home 'till Tuesday to play with it. Also, the Trimmer isn’t scheduled to arrive until Wednesday anyway.

trimmer arrived, unpacked, attached, works very well with the remote control.
Now: I mow the lawn with a Mammotion Luba lawn mower, that guy was just earlier available, and does a wonderful job. The Yarbo trimmer is intended to trim the edges, the mammotion has to leave, since there are edges that the Luba cannot reach (long curbsides, around trees…).
The Yarbo trimmer therefore should only trim these edges, and it should do it automatically.
How do I set it up to just trim these edges? I know there is some workflow for mowing and trimming, but I only need trimming. Please tell me the workflow, will save me some hours of trial and error. Is there a video somewhere for exactly that usecase?
Create a memory path. It’s like mapping a trimming pathway. You can add that to a work plan and schedule or execute it manually
I’ve been playing with memory paths for the past couple of hours. So far, I’m liking the option. It really does record you driving Yarbo along the area to be trimmed, and tries hard to duplicate it. Personally I think this is what Yarbo should be doing for ALL perimeter work.
Exactly, I hate the missed corners and such, and I hate messing with dead ends to fix that issue.
bryan: don’t forget I am a passionate user of the Yarbo as a snow blower, therefore I am rather familiar with setting up areas and sidewalks, I never saw memory path. How do I set it up? I just do not dare to mess with my carefully established and wonderfully executed winter maps.
Enter your yard, edit map, tap the three dots to expand all the options. If your trimmer is attached and you have the mower or the SAM attached Memory path will be an option. You can use this to map lines (paths) within existing areas. They are similar to sidewalks. They will only show up and be usable with the trimmer attached and the mower module or SAM.

This is just running on my boundary, haven’t setup memory paths yet. It’s doing a fairly decent job. The “Person Detected” is a bit annoying but I get it. Just have to be SO far away from Yarbo!

You can turn that off under safety settings, person detection. It will reenable on reboot.
