Trimmer delivery

I could use your BBM so I can use my trimmers. :rofl: on the other hand, I also need a trimmer for my last yarbo. :rofl:

Hi Gabriele,

My trimmer arrived today and I did the full setup. Testing now.

Any further advise about the settings?

Be careful when reversing near obstacles and try increasing the wire output minutes to more than 5 minutes…then you have to see how much it consumes based on your areas

Can you tell me if the Yarbo recognizes garden lights with or without a stand and avoids them, or is there a risk it might run over them? I’d like to light up my garden steps, but I don’t know if it’s currently risky :rofl:

Yarbo will deliberately try to eat them like Pac-Man. They’re worth 10 points each.

Nooo:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:let’s go well then

I don’t know what they’re waiting for to add more obstacles to Yarbo’s repertoire…at least those that are normally found in most gardens.

Vision I believe is limited to objects that are 2 inches (50.8mm) or larger. But, I wouldn’t trust it with small pole garden lights. I know it has taken a few out in the past. The trimmer will exacerbate this too.

I hope they implement a solution to this… it’s normal to find lights in a garden. In the meantime, I’ll reduce the perimeter and manually direct it where the lights are located.thanks

or spend thousands of dollars to copy the Rolls-Royce crest’s disappearing mechanism when you touch it :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:for garden lights :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Yea, unfortunately right now the chances of Yarbo avoiding the lights would be low. I wouldn’t trust it.

Any objects that are permanently in my yard are either outside the mowing zone or are enclosed by a no go zone. Better safe than sorry.

Thanks

But to be clear - I don’t consider this to be a Yarbo specific issue. I treat my other robot mowers the same way. I’d rather deliberately protect against damaging something versus trusting their vision systems.

I view the vision avoidance more like a last chance safeguard. First line of defense is no go zones and such.

You’re right, but I think the ones I’ve seen with the latest generation lidar are reliable enough in avoiding obstacles. Plus, they have 100-200 types of obstacles they recognize in memory.

Finally. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses::flexed_biceps:
love it. the only times i got trimmer line errors were while making memory path. i have raised the line feed to 9 min

That got me. Laughed out load at 35,000 ft.

Still waiting on my Trimmer. Also, their website was migrated terrible. All my stuff has the same shipping date, including the trimmer I dont have.

No trimmer here either. Not shipped yet.

It’s available for purchase again and I ordered one today. No language about not in stock or estimated future shipping. If I get mine before some of the old orders, all hell will break loose.

Someone on FB posted that it’s not for sale and I was going to correct them and went and checked and it’s out of stock again. So you lucked out I guess.
