They keep saying they will be shipping soon. Every, single, time. I don’t trust them anymore with this module, and I believe it’s a flop.

I’ve had the tester trimmer for a while, and I’ve been testing it a few times, and it does a terrible job. It has caused more damage to itself and my garden, than it’s worth. The firmware is still not quite there yet and the design is clunky and not that functional. The auto-feeder doesn’t even work… So yea, I’m out.

I ordered my first Yarbo bundle on June 14, 2024 with the sprayer and the trimmer. I knew it would be another year before it would arrive because the trimmer was not ready until spring 2025. Now it’s spring 2026. I don’t understand how the co-founder Ken K can say live on Yarbo that the trimmers will not be shipped in April but delivered in April. That’s ridiculous. I also ordered 2 M series. I’ll probably just cancel them again. They probably won’t arrive in this lifetime either. :face_with_symbols_on_mouth::sleeping_face:

I think we should wait for something official before jumping off the deep end. Maybe it’s just that - Rumor, and they are still intending to ship this month.

Hopefully we’ll hear something official soon. But in the mean time, I’m not planning on freaking out.

That said, the continued delays are NOT a good look. Yarbo needs to get better at their forecasting. Ideally they shouldn’t be selling devices that are only conceptual and not already developed and ready for sale.

They seemed really certain it would be delivered by the end of April. Seen lots of responses to people saying as much plus what Ken K said on the live stream. I don’t think they would be so firm on that if they were not going to meet the date (at least even close). I did hear the damaged shipment story but that was the reason for the current delay.

If it’s like you say, they should already ship because there are 10 days left until the end of April and I live in Italy so it won’t arrive in one day :rofl:

I would also like to know about this change of direction in using lidar on the new Yarbo M. I was one of the first to point out that it was needed on the current Yarbo but they replied that it was not necessary because the cameras would have seen like the human eye… it had to be more advanced… why do they use it now?

Can’t speak to shipping for Italy but for the US they have warehouses that either come out of CA or IL most of the time. For me on the East coast that’s 7 days from CA or 3 days from IL. Still some time to meet the end of April. They should also be shipping out in the order the orders were received.

Because it’s the new fad in the industry but honestly vision is too easily defeated by dirty cameras and direct sunlight. This is why it is important to have several methods of detection and if 2 out of 3 agree, ignore the bad one, at least IMHO.

Lidar should already be on the current Yarbo with what it costs… I have home robots with this system and I have no problems whatsoever… they move and avoid obstacles wonderfully.

Or at least have thought ahead to make it an add on in the future from when the Y was sent out.

Additionally, regarding the line spool accessory, it is designed to support and organize the trimmer line (yellow cutting line) used in your device. It helps in the following ways:

I received this email this morning after I reopened a ticket I had about trimmer delivery, so it seems delivery is still slated for this month according to Team Yarbo…

LOL They totally just mansplained what a trimmer line spool is. :joy:

I felt like the marketing team at yarbo now took over the help ticket center.

But this is a shiny new trimmer line spool like never seen before…

There are many spools like it, but this one is mine.

We are waiting for the shipping email :rofl:

I decided to open a ticket today after seeing what they said to you.

Basically, I got a modified version of the same response. Instead of ‘Line spool accessory’, my email called it a “cable box accessory”. I’m assuming it’s the same thing.

Guess the official answer is still ‘April’ for now.

Oh yes, cable box accessory was my favorite. Hence the mansplained version. It is the same thing. Somebody didn’t get the updated script. :joy:
