Uncut grass when using 90 degree/checkerboard

I’ve noticed that the rover is missing clumps of grass when using 90 degree rotation/checkboard in the work plan. Would it be possible to add 1-2 additional perimeter passes at the end of the mow or possibly move the turning point ahead 6-8 inches to ensure these area’s are cut?

This is a known bug and they are working to fix the issue. Hopefully in the next firmware release. To mitigate it in the interim, the best thing to do is to mow again and rotate the cutting pattern by 45-90 degrees. Using one of the patterns like checkerboard does this rotation automatically.

would an extra perimeter or two help? Or does that just move the issue further in the lawn?

As near as I can tell, perimeter counts don’t seem to be considered by the zig-zagger. So maybe they’d run over that trouble spot?
