Please consider allowing the route angle to be adjusted in 1 degree increments versus the 10 degree increment that exists in the app today

100% this. Seems pretty easy to implement.

Bonus points if there is an option to set the angle via integer input and map based input (visual orientation).

Does anyone know how to activate the checkerboard and Diamond routes on the app.. it has never worked for me sense day one.

The checkerboard takes two mowing sessions to complete. Than it will keep switching. I am not sure about the diamond. I just started experimenting with it

Diamond takes 4 cuts

As Rick mentioned, it doesn’t do it the first time. You have to schedule it to mow back to back to get the complete pattern the first time. It’s made to do it over several cuts. This varies the mowing direction to limit wear on the yard. This is one reason Yarbo opted not to do it automatically and instead over two different mowing sessions. The user can chose to send it right back out on the same day if they want to.

Thanks! @bryan.wheeler That should save me from a little frustration when the diamond doesn’t get it done by the second time. The Checkerboard has been been great for difficult areas, it doesn’t always do the checkerboard but it gets more complete grass coverage than other choices. Hopefully the same will be true with the diamond

Yes cutting multiple times with varying the rotation by 45-90 degrees should get most everything. Some people have claimed better cut by removing the blade guards and brackets as well. Cutting 2-3 (or more) times a week should help keep things tidy too.

The key for the pattern to kick in is it has to complete the mow to 100%. It will then set the rotation angle in the area settings. For checkerboard it’s +90.
