Using SAM features with other modules

I would like to be able to use Follow Me, Patrol Mode, Tow Mode (soon?), etc. with the M1/S1/B1 attached.
This would prevent the hassle of switching modules, as well as wear and tear of the mounting hardware.

Patrol Mode is specifically designed for the SAM module, and at this stage, we do not plan to develop this feature for other modules.
However, regarding Follow Me mode and Tow Mode, we will pass your feedback along to our product team for their consideration.

Please put patrol mode on the supported list for all modules. If there is a “bump in the night” loud noise outside or something that I would like my Yarbo to investigate, it needs to do so with a sense of some urgency and not wait for me to swap in the SAM.

‘Bumps in the night’ can/will happen the night before having a schedule starting during a day in the office. Meaning I do not want to have to have the SAM connected overnight to run deer away from my saplings only to have switch the module before going to the office to accommodate a scheduled mowing when I am already running late as usual.

I don’t understand why we can’t do it with any module??? because they all have the cameras in front! Moreover, if I mow at night and something happens (animals or people) at that moment or even if I blow or remove the snow, I would like to be warned!

Not sure whether this was already suggested, but it would be convenient to be able to send Yarbo to any selected point on the map (as it with SAM) even with the Mower module attached.

Additionally it would be good to be able edit map and change mowing settings even if mower module is not attached. Of course thats more applicable in early stages when doing the mapping, but anyway ability to fine tune the yard regardless of the installed module would be good.

Thanks for your suggestions! We’ve already received similar feedback about sending Yarbo to a selected point on the map, and this request has been shared with our product team for consideration.

As for your second suggestion about editing maps and mowing settings without the mower module attached, I’ll also pass that along to our product team for review.
