I have a large yard and wider stripes look better. Could you consider adding the option to set the number of passes in each direction (1 (default), 2, or 3). This might help with turning at the end of the stripe since a larger u-turn could be possible (similar to how large tractors handle fields). Here’s a notional way to think about having stripes that are 2 passes wide.
This to me is how I envisioned U-Turns to work (but they don’t). I think this would be ideal for U-Turns and then have the configurable option for number of passes in each direction.
Thank you for your suggestion, and we appreciate the detailed picture illustration you provided. We will forward your idea to our product department and carefully consider its feasibility. Thank you again for your valuable input!
Yes!! I second this request.
I also have a large field, and wider stripes would look so much nicer.
Thank you for considering this feature!
Has anyone from Yarbo looked into how wide a turn needs to be in order to be as easy as possible on the lawn?
That may tell you the best number to include in the range.
I would think 2 path lines would be enough
In my yard, I have used a 54" and 72" mower deck, both sets of lines looked good. Assuming a 4" overlap on Yarbo, a 3 pass option would be needed to get close to 60" stripe width. Probably make the u-turn more gentle and faster as well. Then do a 3-4 pass border to clean up the edges. Voila!!
3 passes would be great. Then have the option to pull a roller down the center pass. With overlap on the 3 mow passes it would make it just about perfect for a standard size roller to go right down the middle and reinforce the stripes.
