Does anyone know if Yarbo is developing a simulation of a workplan to visualize how yarbo is moving in the work area?
I believe they might have something like this internally but I don’t expect they have plans to release this in the app. Curious why you feel this feature would be useful to you. You can generate a preview in the area settings to get a layout of the path lines and also when executing a work plan. You can also disable the auger in the work preferences for the snow blower and send it out on a test run (recommend setting auger height up some).
At the moment, we don’t have plans to develop a workplan simulation feature.
I’m from a manufacturing environment where everything is simulated before it is being used on the shop floor to predict the outcomes and select the best desired results. In this case, a dry run could take an hour or so depending on the area to clean. However a simulated path would only take minutes. Moreover, changing the snow deposit location would create a different travel paths, which when simulated on the app might create a better solution in terms of visual appearance after snow blowing (i.e perfect lines instead of criss-cross and turns all over the place).
