I would personally love to see some video of the features that were advertised in the M1 mower back from a year ago, like obstacle avoidance and navigation with limited/no gps, such as under dense trees. Any videos on that @Yarbo-Forum?
Is there any data yet on what the more powerful motors and increased blade mass do to mowing area per charge?
Super hopeful that with regular mowing the amount of thatch would not be what is being shown in these videos. Looking for the lift from these blades not necessarily the ability to mow tall overgrown lawns. That realistically should be different module altogether in my opinion. More like a flail or shredder attachment.
They were talking about this during the livestream and said they didn’t see any major battery usage difference between the M1 and Pro. You SHOULD, given the motors are more powerful and the blades have some lift, but they said it’s pretty much the same. Perhaps the mowers just use about the same amount of power on the same patch of grass.
Obviously if you were into heavy grass, yeah, things would crank up, and the Pro’s maximum power is slightly more than the M1’s. I would imagine that the Pro may need fewer passes to knock down higher grass as well.
Correct. The power is variable based on the input like the snow blower intake setting works. If micro mulching it should be very similar to the M1 they said.
Lol they have all been scrubbed from the web. False advertising. What about all the advertised features trimmer that still haven’t showed. Yarbo advertised a trimmer for sale that they hadn’t even built yet.
The grass packs so thick under my deck with disc blades, could imagine if there was lift how thick it would pack, they probably stop and clean it each pass for that video with the tall grass. We not looking for a bush hog, just a robot that mows straight lines SO WE DONT HAVE TOO!!!
Obstacle avoidance and navigation with limited or no GPS are key areas that we are actively working to improve. While I don’t have many videos to share at the moment, our tech lead recently shared a video showing Yarbo attempting to dock using its vision system. We are committed to making significant progress on these issues and are putting in a lot of effort to enhance these capabilities. Your continued support is greatly appreciated as we work on these improvements.
