Yarbo not Charging to 100%

a few weeks ago I noticed the yarbo would dock itself just fine and charge, but it would never get to 100%. it started charging to like 94% then 88%, 84% and today I after 3 days on the charging pad it was only 79% when I needed to send it out. I assume my battery is shot after only 1 season of mowing. Thoughts?

Not shot at all. This is a known software bug. Unplug your battery for 4 hours and then plug it back in. This should reset the Battery Management System (BMS) and then it should fully charge.

Hi there, as Bryan mentioned, this may be related to a known software bug. Please try the steps he suggested, and let me know if the issue still persists.

Thank you! I will give this a try today

Is there any planned fix for the bug? This keeps my core from entering the charge protect mode. I have ran into this 2 times now.

@itgoes211 Hi there! We’re still exploring ways to further optimize this issue. For now, the method we recommend is allowing the system to perform a calibration, which often helps reset everything back to normal.

I am refreshing this post. I already have open ticket for this but I want to know if anybody else have issues with charging. Last summer I did battery reset (4 hours or so disconnected) because Yarbo wasn’t charging to 100%, but this summer (season) I have done it already 3 times and I have to do it after every 2 weeks basically. Battery consumption is higher also. For now battery charges to 92% only and can’t get it to 100%. Is there any fix for this or what’s the cause of this?

Keep your ticket updated so they can check your battery out.

If the battery reset does not resolve the issue, it will require further investigation by our team. We kindly ask for your patience while we look into it, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we have an update.

Battery reset do help, but why do I have to do the reset every two weeks? That’s the question. Last year I made it only once. This year I have to make it every two weeks basically.

They will definitely need to dig deeper into your battery issue to see why.

Our support team will further investigate into this issue and kindly ask for your patience before we draw a conclusion.
