Agreed. Don’t know why it’s not announced more formally as to what they are doing/planning.
I re opened a ticket I had about the trimmer and asked about my shipment time as the person in this chat does not want to give out any info. I was told the end of April it will ship and from a location in the USA.
Yarbo lie or fact? Who knows at this point….
Last I checked, I was told end of April as well.
Hopefully that timeline is still accurate.
But if there is a legit reason for them to postpone shipments to redesign something, I’d prefer that they just be honest about it so we don’t need to speculate and/or cause rumors.
So this thing shipped to people in November last year, my question, where are those people? Why do we hear just about nothing on how it works-issues?
Mine is cutting now. With the trimmer installed, when Yarbo comes to a point where it needs to turn it does a strange reverse to the left, and I’m told it was to make room for the trim trimmer to make the turn. That’s fine, but the angles that it produces puts it in a worse position for the turn. Clearly a work in progress. That said, it works. And I’m pretty impressed with how well it does work considering how few people have been giving them feedback which I guess at this point are the PPP members and the few who received them.

Question time…..
Does the trimmer have to run the whole time it is cutting the area? Does it trim at the end, or trim as it cuts the area? Can you send it out just to trim the boarder? Can you send it out just to do trees in the middle of the area?
It does not need to run the whole time, I just selected the whole area to watch it and see if it would scalp the grass, it did not.
You can select certain areas, I believe the smallest is 3’. So, around my front yard at the road is stone. I do not have the trimmer active in that area. I do turn on the trimmer for a short time around a sign post once it gets past the post it turns off again.
Yes, you can have it just trim the boarder. Either the whole thing or parts of it, you decide.
Yes, you can even record a 1:1 controlled path that it will drive. You can then “play back” what you recorded and it will do that same maneuver. I haven’t done this yet.
Thank you for the info. The wiki for the trimmer has nothing about the use at all. Get on the Yarbo! The need to make more videos.
Screenshots of the map and settings would be helpful. For those of us who have to “manually trim” 
Here is a picture of my side yard. The yellow portion of the border I manually traced with my finger on the map to tell the trimmer to cut those areas. The white area on the left is next to stones at the road so I don’t want that to be trimmed. The trimmer will turn off automatically when it gets to that point and then turn back on when it gets close to my mailbox at the bottom left.
