How to Activate or Deactivate the Auger When Starting a Work Plan

The auger plays a key role in clearing snow, but there are situations where it isn’t needed—such as when running a dry test. Turning the auger off in these cases can help save power and reduce unnecessary wear.

To adjust this setting, go to Yarbo Settings → Work Preferences, where you can easily toggle the Auger On/Off for a work plan.

:bell: Reminder: Cable Protection Cover Installation for the Snow Blower Module

Please ensure the Cable Protection Cover between the Snow Blower Module and the core is properly installed before operation.

If the rear cover is missing or not secured:

  • Snow may enter the internal components

  • Snow can compact over time

  • The linear actuator may become stuck

Quick tips:

  • Always check the rear cover before use

  • Stop and clean immediately if snow intrusion occurs

  • Continued operation after snow intrusion may increase the risk of damage

:red_question_mark: FAQ: Snow Blower Chute Not Rotating

Q: The snow blower chute is not rotating. What should I do?

A:
If you encounter this issue, please try the following steps:

  • Low-temperature freeze:
If temperatures are extremely low, the chute may be frozen. Power off the unit and manually rotate the chute to check for freezing or mechanical blockage. Under normal conditions, the chute should rotate with moderate manual force. Allow it to thaw briefly, then enable Anti-freeze Mode.

  • After hot-swapping modules while powered on:
If the issue occurred after changing modules without powering off, please perform a quick restart.

  • If the issue persists or does not apply:
Please submit a support ticket by emailing support@yarbo.com for further assistance.
