Is it possible to make an update series for the Y model that would add a lidar feature to the device? I would think that if the price was affordable, users would buy it
already asked by several people including me…it would be fantastic…even including a hardware update on the current yarbo

I was told it wasn’t possible to retrofit because no electrical connectors in the current Y series to accommodate a LIDAR.
No problem. I have diagonal wire cutters and crimps!

Maybe use side camera network connections since the cameras aren’t used for anything but Smart Vision 
I will give up my front cameras as all the see is dandelions.
And the rear ones only see the back brace mount.

and implement it on the lawnmower perhaps and any modules finding a way to make it communicate with the core… there are robots that have implemented it in the body near the cameras.
