I would greatly appreciate if the rotation angle for each mowing run can be up to 180º. This way Yarbo will Do North to South one day, then South to North the second day.
Currently the max angle is 170º and that’s just not close enough. I get the logic as 0º is the same as 180º, except it isn’t. For example, 0º starts in the North end of the yard, when 180º would start from the South.

Wouldn’t north to south and then south to north potentially cause Yarbo to use the exact same paths while mowing? Wouldn’t that lead to “ruts” in the yard?
I’m kind of confused about what the degrees actually indicate. My assumption was that if you set it to 0deg “route angle” and 90deg “rotation” that it would mow due East, then due South, then due West, etc…but it’s not working that way at all. So I just play with it until it seems correct, not really following.
I think it relates to degrees of difference to the last mow.
I think you can see it in the preview. Maybe that’ll help.
From my experience, I think it only alters the baseline cut angle (if you don’t like the initial default direction). After that it uses the Pattern selection to increment subsequent mows.
@kinglerch - From what I’ve gathered, the 0 Route Angle is set per Area, and I suspect it is based on the longest side of that Area (so “math” or maybe “by convention,” not a compass direction).
Folks have requested that Yarbo line up the 0 angles for all Areas so every Area that’s mowed on the property can have the same lines instead of having to play with Route Angle in multiple Areas. You can get it almost lined up but not quite, according to posts about it.
