For those of us that have the need to do remote map editing I have found that trying to get a template shape placed for a NGZ is nothing short of frustrating. Too big, not in the right spot, off center, etc…
My initial method was to drive The Skutter (core unit) straight upto an obstacle and guess as best I could as to size and positioning, and then nosing up to the other side. Usually to find later it not quite how I thought it to be.
I then tried driving along side the object to the left or right side just past the camera, and placing the template. This made placing the shape so much easier and more reliable, as this is how Yarbo will present itself to the NGZ when mowing. Just remember when you place the template to have the shape intersect the center of the Yarbo icon about where the RTK antennas are. Then park on the other side of the obstical and check for location and size.
The Yarbo Icon in map view doesn’t quite seem to be represented right, to how I think it is, from front to back.
