Some of us have needed to add a second physical or virtual docking station because of our property configuration and excessive distance to a single dock. It is inconvenient to constantly have to edit the map just to enable the correct active dock for different areas.
An option should be available in each area’s configuration setting to assign a particular docking station to return to - the active dock for that area.
If only one docking station is created in the map, the option to select different docking stations can be hidden to keep setup simple. But when you add an additional docking station (be it physical or virtual), the app should now be aware you have multiple docking stations. Then when adjusting the area settings where you can set the specific speed, mow height, pattern, etc., the option should now be visible to select which docking station to return to when recharge is needed.
When the core finishes that area and moves to the next area in the work plan, that area will have an new assigned docking station; be it the same one or now a different dock to go to. When the last area in the plan has completed, the dock in that area will be the final docking station to return to and end the work plan.
This multiple docking station default option in area settings should be available with all modules - lawn mower, snowblower, leaf blower.
