Adding No-Go Zone

This the first time I’m using my Lawn mower Pro even though I have mapped my Yard last year. I tried to add a No Go Zone to the existing map but I couldn’t. There is a function to add buttons but it doesn’t not allow me to save it. The reason is that I have a swimming pool and a tree and other things I want the robot to avoid. Few other things I encountered during the first trial. However, Yarbo was able to finish the job. The following issues I encountered during the trial:

1- Yarbo got stuck circling around one spot and didn’t not move until I stopped the plan, then I continued then it was able to move forward.
2- Yarbo did not recognize me as a person or a body stop when I stood in front of it.
3- Yarbo was not able to continue going to recharge because it couldn’t go around the truck in the driveway. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

For the NGZ - what app version are you using?

For the truck - if it is directly in the pathway, it won’t avoid it. It will try and return to the dock, but if the dock is obstructed it will just stop and wait for assistance.

For the going in circles, if you are using moderate bypass (vision based obstacle avoidance) then you can get false positives. Once you can make NGZ’s, consider dropping those and switching to gentle contact mode (bumper only).

Thanks Bryan. I’m using app version 3.18.5. for the truck, yes. I think it was parked in the pathway, so now I know and will move it next time. Next time I will switch to gentle contact mode, but the problem it wont let me add a NGZ after I mapped the yard a year ago. I tried several times.

Check for an app update. There is a .6 one that should be available now.

Thanks Bryan. Any idea why I could not add NGZ? is the app version or something else?

Hoping it’s just a glitch with the app version.

Thanks. I will update and try again. Going to Japan for business so it will be a while
