Yep, but where? I’m worried it’ll be in global Work Settings which wouldn’t be very helpful,
Probably… For me, it wouldn’t matter if it was globally disabled. But I can see how having it per area is useful. Hopefully it’s per area.
Yea! Being stuck with the slow downhill mowing doubled my mowing time from 40 hours to 80 hours (and the grass growing too long before I could get to the next mowing, and still did not do a much better job. I could improve the job by mowing each area twice, with an offset of one pattern space. That way it would be mowing uphill in every pattern space. The downhill moves just need to be as fast as possible, and could wander like a drunk. It is a little tricky to get that offset correct, though. With an 8-inch overlap, the pattern is 12 inches. Have to fiddle with the expansion settings (which have limited increments) to get it right. The best solution is a pattern like a dead end that does not have to turn around, but just getting rid of the slow downhill moves will help me a lot).
They are bringing that option in the form of a toggle to disable the slow slope algorithm. Hopefully soon.
Ruined Yard: So, anyone has excessive track marks and dead grass (pulled out, crashed) around the borders where Yarbo turns (yes, 3 way turn), or how about Yarbo rearing its hind when deciding to go in reverse up a not so steep slope (see video).
for the price of the Yarbo unit i could get a zero turn and spend less time and getting way better results.
Thank you Yarbo for making me the joke of the neighborhood, neighbors walk pass my yard and point to the holes in my yard

Are you cutting same direction every time?
You would probably have had a better result with a diamond pattern, but really, this looks like much of my yard and would benefit from a slope-specific pattern that is hopefully in development that would not require Yarbo to turn around at the ends of the runs. It would also solve the bucking when backing up the hill. Hopefully, things should get better soon.
I too added weight to a custom bracket. 5kg.
It does a lot better on sloped
But now I get an error message that the rear sensors a blocked.
@Yarbo-Forum needs to give us an OEM option, one that looks good, is sturdy and durable and does not hinder the sensors, when they maybe will start to work with a future firmware update. I have a ticket open #103487 regarding the weight and some other stuff. Yarbo needs to R&D a fix for us on slopes!
Does the tow hitch has use the same type hall sensor for module detection? I’ll leave the rest to your imagination.
I think the problem is it blocks the vision.
Yep. I’m just saying, if all you’re using it for is ballast.
Problem is it will detect it as an obstacle when backing and cause weird issues and even more turf damage from zero turns
Always a Debbie Downer ![]()
And I don’t even live in Dallas
You mean it blocks “reserved for future expansion”.
Once the BBM and trimmer are released and installed I think it will add enough weight to help and eliminate the need for a counter balance. same would be true of any rear attached module.
Feeling like I’m glad I don’t have a bunch of slopes…
It’s a slippery slope
Exactly!!!
Half way through making approx 50 DEs for one big hill. It can mow uphill, but ugly things happen if doesn’t back down.
