After a week of mowing, all blades are completely stuck and fused to the disk, the one on the pic with my finger is stuck inwards and it cut into those little plastic ridges where it is supposed to rotate on.
Coming from Husqvarna and having a Luba in the family, I don’t know that problem!
This is quite a design oversight, especially for such a heavy duty machine. I flipped all blades around, when Yarbo flipped over 9day ago. And now they are already completely worn out. We really need a metal cutting disk with an additional protective disks on the bottom!
Or give us the option of fixed blades like Ambrogio 4.0 Elite RTK 4WD. So there would even be a little uplift effect for more effective cutting.
Going on like that, I would need a new set of cutting blades every 20 days, I think that’s a little much!
How are your blades holding up, where do you guys get replacement blades, I couldn’t find them on the accessory page on yarbos homepage, just the replacement disks.
I do not have that problem at all. Must be something unique to your area. Blades can be purchased here. https://www.yarbo.com/products/cutting-blades-bolts-40-pcs-
Must be my central european gras then. Thank you for your link, but it only takes me to yarbo main page, and I can’t find the blades throuout the store. Maybe a european thing too…
Very well could be. My understanding is that most robotic lawnmower blades will work as long as the screw holes aren’t too big. You could order some off Amazon and see if they work for you.
It really is a location problem, when setting the store to US, I can see the blades and shear pins for the snow blower, those are not available in countries with the Euro.
I ordered replacements from Amazon, with the exact same dimensions.
Something like this would be wonderful, I thin the motors are strong enough!
@Deixi Wow, those blades look the part. It would be interesting to see the difference in weight, impact on the motors, and if Yarbo could use them with the blades fully up or down. I’d like something akin to what I’m used to in terms of blades. These little razor things that wear out quickly and I can’t sharpen? Not really a fan. But, yeah, they do the job in terms of maintaining a cut, so, fine.
What might be interesting is if the Yarbo folks investigated a few of these blades and “approved” them for use, maybe working with the manufacturer to make them fit and reselling the customized version or offering an adapter plate.
Flail designs (if that’s what those are) would allow rocks and roots to be struck but with less impact for the motor… not zero impact, but hopefully sufficiently limited.
The design is from Lymow One, there are fixed blades and there is this flail design to do exactly what you mentioned, reduce the impact of bigger objects.
I live near Austin TX and use Yarbo to mow a rural property. I see the same problem reported in the picture and definitely would like to see a heavy duty option for the blades
Now that’s what I’m talking about. Some
Real blades not this crap that is currently used. Current blades are for golf green grass. Way too wimpy.
I really hope they can come up with a better, more durable solution. I’m counting on them!
They even talked about it in the AMA today, but mentioning it alongside an upgrade of the mower deck and stronger motors and what not, leaves me thinking whether they once again (2023 to 2024) sent out an unfinished and half backed product.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us! As mentioned during the CEO AMA event, we are actively working on a version with a reinforced cutting deck and exploring other blade options for various use cases.
Regarding the purchase of replacement blades, we apologize for the inconvenience. We have now relisted the cutting blades on our official website, and you can easily purchase the blades you need. Thank you for your patience, and we truly appreciate your continued feedback!
I’m in the US in Indiana. I’ve only been using my mower for a few weeks now but I’ve also noticed build up around the blades as in the photo here. I tried spraying the disks & blades with a teflon lubricant, but I’m still finding that after just a few mows there is enough buildup on & around the blades that they no longer spin freely
