Whenever rover hits dimple of ice while snowplowing and after few attempts it should position itself over it and do few turns on the spot.
That is how I break up built up ice currently on my driveway, works more than half the time

I also have noticed that, especially if we can get the contour mapping feature it might be possible. I’d be worried about it getting itself stuck though too. Maybe far down the line once we have more stable software
