Hi there — I’ve checked with our team. Based on our internal testing, we haven’t been able to reproduce this behavior recently. That said, we’ve shared your case with the relevant team for further investigation to see if any additional improvements can be made. Thanks for flagging this and for your patience!
There have been quite a few complaints about sidewalks running backwards, myself included. Are you saying you’re not aware of the issue or you don’t know the cause? This is definitely a problem.
@JNS We’ve shared these cases with our R&D team, and we’re happy to let you know that a fix is already planned for the next release. Once the update is available, please feel free to share your feedback if the issue still persists so we can continue improving. Thank you for your patience and for helping us make this better.
When’s the next update planned for? Are we back to monthly releases or is it always dependent on PPP testing, so really hard to give a “more concrete” timeline? ←-sorry in advance, don’t want to sound needy but I’m anxious ![]()

It’s always subject to internal development timelines and issues identified internally during that process. And then it is sent to the PPP to work through any issues identified there.
Thanks for the question—totally understandable. The next update is currently in the development stage. For all major releases, our current process requires the update to go through internal testing first, followed by PPP testing, before it is released. Because of this, the exact timing can vary depending on the results of each testing phase.
We appreciate your patience and interest.
Great next update will be here when there is no need for the snowblower. Perfect timing.
