Can not connect to rover

I just got my Yarbo and on the first go around it lost commication and I can’t control it with my phone or the controller. I have restarted the rover but that didn’t help. What should I try next?

Are you able to get into the App and do other operations with the rover, like view and edit Work Plans and map stuff? So you have communication with the rover?

All your antennas snug?
Did you try to pair the controller? (I rarely use it, don’t remember which button you hold down.)
Your phone has Bluetooth turn on?

I’ve had the controller (hand controller AND the controller in the App) stop working when the rover is VERY busy – I’m able to overload it. BUT rebooting the rover and gets it running again – it sounds like that’s not the case with yours.

Is your rover charging or running a Work Plan? The controller is disabled when the rover is doing that.

And the controller is shown as enabled in the App, not dimmed, so it should be usable, yes?

Yarbo has multiple paths that the app uses. And it looks like none of them work.
You also mentioned that it stopped dead, I assume in the middle of a task.

That smells to me like either a board got unplugged, or failed. You’ll need support to provide an authorized fix.

Have you initiated a ticket, yet? You can do so right from the App, and doing so makes it easy.


Tap on that when the app starts, go to “support center”, and you can create and manage the entire ticket process from there.

Most of the replies to my tickets happen overnight, so keep timezones in mind.

Same boat for me. It just stopped 50% of the way through a job and nothing will connect to it. I’ve reset the data center, my home wifi, tried pairing before unplugging the battery for 15 mins. Tried pairing after. It’s a brick with a light show of various colors then goes into a low power state with a few low lights still on. I have an access point 35’ from it’s dead location that show excellent signal on my phone. My router shows it disconnected from the network when it stopped working and it has never reconnected.
