On 09 June, I submitted ticket #208677, with the following problem.
It seemed Yarbo had slightly moved off its base and did not charge. I went to start a job and noticed it was not connecting to the app. I tried to turn it manually and failed. I then plugged it in to its manual charger overnight. The next day I was able to turn it on but all it did was flash its amber caution light and the side lights blinked; red, green, and blue. I tried a hard power down and nothing. I can not connect it to the app at all. Data Center is online and connected to internet and satellites. However, I can connect to it via bluetooth and play music.
Yarbo sent me a replacement battery, that arrived today, I installed it and to my surprise it is still stuck in that boot up sequence.
While waiting on support, can anyone assist me in what may be wrong?
Hi there, if you can connect via Bluetooth and play music but still can’t connect to the app, this likely needs further assistance from our support team.
Please go to Yarbo Settings → Cellular → Rover Wi-Fi and connect your Yarbo to the internet. This will allow our team to continue with further diagnosis.
@bryan.wheeler Thank you for this. Though it seems to be disconnecting intermittently. Maybe now @Yarbo-Forum can troubleshoot it. It is charging via direct connection and not the charging pad.
This should definitely help support be able to troubleshoot. Be sure and give remote access consent for troubleshooting in your ticket if you haven’t yet. That will help speed things along in the process.
Thanks for the update! Our support team will continue investigating your case. If you need any help following up on your ticket, feel free to tag me anytime and I’ll be happy to assist.
25 June 2026 @ 0703 update. Left it on all night, connected directly to the charger (not the charging pad) its bricked again. Can only connect via Bluetooth. Progress seemed to be made last night but its back to its previous bricked state.
I finally thought today some progress was made but as it turns out no progress has been made. Lights do go from rotating colors and turns off as if its working. Checking the app it finally shows the battery at 100% but when I go to do stuff with it, it says Yarbo is plugged in directly to the charger, even when I unplug it. It does seem to be connecting DC but again its still does nothing. I did pull the battery for 5 minutes today and plugged it back in to find its still bricked, I also restarted the DC. @Yarbo-Forum please notify support that I have been commenting on the ticket but have not received a reply yet.
If you keep getting that motherboard disconnected error, I think they may need to do some deeper diagnosis on your core. Hopefully the hard reset procedure works for you.
