That reminds me, need to go run mine.
My zero turn is lithium ion, so no Dino juice for me.
But I did just dig it out of the barn last week to charge the battery…. Does that count??

Whatcha got?
I was looking at a green Work lithium ion 60 inch zero turn originally, but then opted for the Yarbo instead. Sounds like you did both! Good for you!
Mine is a Cub Cadet 42” Lithium zero turn.
Aside from a flat tire, it’s been 100% reliable. But to be honest, it doesn’t get a lot of use with all the robots.
54" ryobi here, doesn’t get used at all the past 2 years.
Ok time for a Mea Culpa (spelling?)
It appears, at least for the moment, that my communication problems may have been self-inflicted. (Picture a larger older man staring at the ground, hands in pockets, dragging his foot back and forth in embarrassment)
When I put up the new data center it never occurred to me that the old antennas were not completely compatible with the new DC. So I just unplugged the old DC and plugged in the new DC moved the antennas (except upgraded to the Pro RTK) and went along my way.
In a flash of inspiration today I swapped out the DC antennas and now things appear to be more normal. Some testing still is needed, but initial results look better.
Humble pie for dinner I reckon.
Congrats on figuring it out!!
We all suffer from self inflicted pain at some point, so welcome to the club!
It could have been the antenna got water in the connection at some point, so I new one fixed it.
Well perhaps my thinking that the communications issues were resolved was overly optimistic.
While the range of the halo, when it connects, is better than yesterday, it’s still not as far as it should be or used to be and, it does not connect easily.
Similarly other connections require many retries before connecting and often only for short periods of time.
So, a step in the right direction, but still a few more to go.
Is yarbo looking into your issue?
Yes. They had messages awaiting me when I awoke this morning.
Going to do some more testing and sending videos once the weather clears.
Just a brief update:
My Yarbo has continued to be usable while support has continued to conduct analysis. Most of the time my battery charges normally, but somewhat randomly it will need to stop and reset by moving the core off and back on the charger and/or rebooting.
The DC connection is much better than it was, once connected, but it usually has to be nudged to connect. The 4G fail over usually will occur with a couple of manual retries.
Today a power board issue error message appeared and has been reported to support.
In the meantime, I continue to send it out to mow as much as it can. Between storms and recharging it’s not clear yet if it can keep up with the new growth.
Thanks for the update.
Regarding the newly appeared Power Board issue, I noticed that the error message disappeared after you rebooted the machine. Since the issue is no longer occurring, it should be okay for you to continue using Yarbo while our team continues the diagnosis process.
For the other issues you mentioned, our FSE team will follow up with you today and provide the next steps as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience and for keeping us updated with the details.
Thank you for checking on it for me. ![]()
The current most pressing issue is that the Yarbo dock stops charging the core unexpectedly. Twice this week I’ve woken up to a nearly dead battery and the dock light has turned red.
Fortunately, if I unplug and replug the dock the light will turn blue again, and then If I undock and redock the core it will charge again. Naturally, the need for such manual intervention is frustrating and I lose a night of productivity each time it happens.
I’ve updated my ticket with this info, and have turned on log recording during each unplug replug sequence.
Awaiting new guidance from support and appreciate the help I’ve received there and this forum.

Charging issues continue. Yarbo returned to the dock over five hours ago at 20%. Now down to 14% as it oscillates between charging and not charging. Support has been updated and this video has been shared with them.
Is it a little far back on the docking station?
I had an issue similar to yours and mine was kinda crooked one day.
Ben,
It’s a simple yes no question that I unfortunately have difficulty answering with a yes or no.
Other than the two times this week where it experienced a map drift of several feet, the first one to the north and the second one to the south, which also included a 180° misinterpretation of its direction, the Yarbo has docked itself automatically.
Those other two times, I obviously had to drive it on manually until it was recognized and started charging, at which point I would do a map drift correction.
Once connected and charging, it would sometimes charge slowly, sometimes charge quickly but curiously would always charge to 100% even though it was in the midst of a work plan that should’ve released it once it got to 80%.
The secondary set of problems occur when it comes back to automatically charge when it gets down to 20%. At that point, it either comes back to a dock with a red light and slowly discharges below the 20% until I happen to notice it and manually unplugged and re-plug the charger in; or it successfully docs, but it also oscillates between charging and depleting and overtime depletes more than it charges, and the end result is the same: a battery that is continuing to deplete until I notice the problem it’s having and intercede.
In that last case, the best workaround seems to just drive it off the dock and have it automatically redock again, at which time it begins to charge normally for that cycle.
They obvious problem is every recharge has some issue that occurs and requires manual intervention and no large job can run to completion because it always ends with a dead battery until I intercede.
I’m on day three of an area that should’ve taken eight hours to complete of a work plan that was estimated to take 30 hours of mowing time plus charge time which I estimated to be about 45 hours (1.5 x work time) so a total of 75 hours.
At the rate, I obviously cannot complete the work plan before it is supposed to begin again the following week.
So, yeah, that’s my answer to your yes/no question. Lol. Sorry but if nothing else, it was therapeutic for me to write it all out.
Jeff
The loss the directional awareness might be a bad core antenna. This is a strong symptom. It could certainly impact docking as well. Have you tried swapping the core antennas? Make note of the diags before the swap and look for a change in diags after the swap.
