Hi all. There are times in the winter when my core will sit on the charger charging slowly. If I stop charging and restart charging it charges more quickly.
Can someone please explain the core/charging pad electrical connection.?

What are you seeing that makes you think that? Is it after its completed a job and trying to get back to 100% or is it just in general?
What are you looking for electrical wise?
After completing a job and returned for charging. It charges, gets to around 70% then slows down. If I stop and restart charging sometimes it will start charging to 100%.
If I move it a little and restart charging sometimes that works.
I’ve never had trouble getting it to charge, it just is inconsistent speed of charging. In the event of multiple snow events, I need it to charge quickly and reliably.
I’m betting it’s this issue possibly starting to rear its head. I would try the unplug trick and see if it improves.
The other possibility is the battery needs heating due to the cold or it is too warm and needs to cool. You should be able to validate that in the diagnostics with the battery temp.
Thank you. I will try what you suggested and keep an eye on it.
I’ve had slower charging(I have a smart plug monitoring) and needed to adjust the Yarbo a little to get it to charge faster. Also check if there’s a build up of snow or ice under the tracks where it parks on the dock.
I think that is the issue. A little ice clearing and/or a restart of the charging sequence gets it charging back to normal.
