Charging

My Yardbot was cutting my lawn and needed a charge. It went to the charging pad and acted as if it didn’t know exactly where it was. First, it started trying to drive forward onto it and then tried to back into a bush that is about two feet away. The blades were spinning while it was trying to park, and when it backed into the bush, it drove the blades into some nearby rocks. Any suggestions of what could have caused this?

Possibly map drift? Was the GPS green? Look at your map view and see if the core is accurate on the map with reality. If not, quite possibly could be. If you have poor GPS, this can be expected.

Hi there, thanks for sharing the details. It’s difficult for us to determine the exact cause based on the information available here.

Could you please submit a support ticket and include the approximate time when this happened? That will allow our support team to check the relevant logs, investigate what happened during the return-to-dock process, and identify the root cause.

Thanks for your help and cooperation!

I didn’t notice if the GPS was green, need to investigate further.
