Please add a procedure to remotely clear the mower deck. Like maybe reversing the blades while backing up. Or an accessory brush or wand that it could drive over to clear clumps of grass or sticks. Otherwise I have to drive home from work to clear it, coax my wife into getting dirty, or, just let it stop. Even with my runners off this has been a periodic problem.
By runners, do you mean the blade guards? If so, did you remove the whole assembly or just the sides? Are you mowing in wet grass? Wet grass will cause more build up for sure.

The support bracket is still installed. Therein lies the problem because that is where grass builds up when there’s alot of dew.
It is safe to remove the blade guards. They are only there for finger protection and to meet regulatory requirements.
All blade guard components are now removed and I sprayed silicone emulsion (“ceramic”) on the underside. We’ll see how it goes.

Removing the blade guard definitely has helped me. But. Under the birch trees the mower still finds sometimes some sticks and those have been stuck under the blade disc. If the application would allow remote control to spin the discs maybe just for a 5-10 seconds I think almost all the cases it would have solved the issue for me. Now I have had to just take off the mower unit. Turned upside down and cleared the small stick by hand. The snowplower has this feature and it has worked great for me. Would be great to see the same feature for the mower.
