I’ve been struggling with wet grass and “clogging” I’m in the humid south so unless the sun is out the grass is wet. When the blades clog, I can simply manually move the blades up 1/2 inch, move the mower backwards into it’s cut path and forward 3-4 feet and turn the blades on. It generally clears the deck (not always). However, I have found the stubborn clogging is always on the outside corners (mostly front towards the casters stuck in the recess) if the blades simply could reverse direction most of the clog would be removed because it has an open path in the middle to eject. Having an option or algorithm to clear the deck (combination of backing up and reversing blade direction should be reviewed) at minimum a button to reverse the blade direction temporarily could help.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! We have received this feature request before and have passed it on to our product team for consideration. We are also exploring new cutting disc and blade guard designs to help reduce clogging issues. Thanks again for your valuable input!

Have you removed the blade guards? If you have not, that would help a lot.

Removing the blade guards and brackets made the world of difference for me.
