Some time ago I npiced that there is condensate inside the roof warning light housing. It’s not very well visible in the photo, but when Yarbo is moving, it’s visible that drops are hanging under the orange plastic.
So far the light flashes as usual and everything works as expected, but I suspect that inside the light housing there shouldn’t be a condensate strong enought to form actual water drops.
And there have not been any extreme weather conditions since I have the Yarbo … of course several rainy days, several sunshine days, couple of morning with somelight frost (maybe -3 Celsius)
How to proceed?
Someone else reported this on one of the other platforms and Yarbo said it isn’t a sealed unit and could be expected. They said that there isn’t anything to be concerned with. @Yarbo-Forum please correct me if I am off base here.
Hi Andris,
As Bryan mentioned, the light housing isn’t fully sealed, so some condensation inside is normal. No need to worry about it — it won’t affect the performance.

Is it just me…or does anytime someone say that water inside an electrical housing is OK, smell something “rotten in Denmark” as the old saying goes?
Maybe kind of like charging the battery to 100% (and leaving it there overnight or longer) is normal and ok…that kind of OK right?

Was just about to ask about this too, should be fine as long as the LED module is sealed👍

@offgrid Hi there, thanks for bringing this up. If anyone notices condensation inside the warning light, please feel free to submit a support ticket so our team can take a closer look and assist.
I have also confirmed this with the relevant team. The internal circuitry of the warning light is treated with a nano-coating process, which provides waterproof protection. Under normal circumstances, the presence of condensation will not affect the light’s operation.
That said, if you have any concerns or would simply like us to double-check your unit, please don’t hesitate to reach out via a support ticket — we’re here to help.
