My yarbo was working great with all the sensors turned off but this morning I was in the same area where it was mowing digging a trench with my bobcat E55 excavator on the opposite side of where it was working and I figured it would would stay on that side when it gets done and heads back to the charger but somehow it decided to come over on the side where I was and drove in underneath between the tracks from behind me and I backed up and hear some crunching noises but thought probably some rocks in my tracks didn’t stop right away until I saw the front of the yarbo under my blade. So long story short I have a useless piece of plastic metal and rubber. So question is what should I do? Will warranty help me any on this or should I put
Or should I put it in the dumpster and start over?
Just because you are upset with it, putting the bobcatE55 in the dumpster is not necessary. ![]()
This sounds like a case of Yarbo Abuse!! Poor guy…
I would open a ticket and maybe they can get something from the server logs that will help them figure out if it was not supposed to do that or it was. Either way, I’m sure they will help you figure out the next steps.
@jevon - are there any salvageable spare parts? Or the manufacturers name plate to be used as a shrine for the lost souls of Yarbo ownership I feel for you.
Oh, they may ask for photos and videos. Something we all have experienced
Oh yeah they want photos and pics of that, for sure no doubt. Not sure if they can recover the logs though ![]()
Sorry to hear about what happened to your Yarbo. It sounds like this was a really unfortunate accident, especially since the machine was working well before this happened.
From your description, it looks like the damage may have been caused by an accident during operation, so it may not fall under the standard warranty coverage. That said, I’d still suggest submitting a support ticket and sharing the details, photos, and any videos you have. Our team can review the situation and see what we can do to help.
Also, could you let us know if you purchased the Accidental Damage Warranty? If so, we can help check with XCotton whether this type of damage may be covered.
We’ll help you look into the situation and figure out the best next step.
It’s so sad to hear about your situation! But based on the information that you offered, I can’t help but think that this is one of those “Things happen” scenarios and you are in the boat where you will have to swallow your losses and start all over. Expensive lessons learned here and I would save what’s left of the casualty for parts if you decide to replace the unit with another Yarbo. My condolences for your loss. May it rest in peace.
If you haven’t already, please go unplug that battery ASAP, there is a lot of stored energy in there.
Hi there, we have received the ticket you submitted and will do our best to assist you. Your case has been escalated to our FSE team, and they will carefully review the situation to determine what support options we can provide.
We appreciate you sharing the pictures and details with us. We’ll keep you updated through the ticket once we have further information.
Thank you @Yarbo-Forum
Also check with your homeowners insurance, if you’re willing to risk a claim with them.
Or some credit cards, if you used one, may have options as well.
