Hi there,
I’ve teached my area with yarbo, my area & map is pretty square. I live on the mountanside, so my GPS seems to be not the best. This results in a “noisy” squared map, meaning the recorded map is not really square any my yarbo now mowes not straight the contour of my map.
I didn’t find any possibility to fix my “noisy” map and draw a straight line instead of the yarbo recorded “line”. Also it would be nice, to adjust the map not on my phone / tablet but modify it on my laptop / PC online with my yarbo account (web-app for modifying the map?).
Also it would be cool to add some specific mowing path, to be able to mow letters / text / graphics.
I would love to see that feature and they mentioned they are working on it.
I would like to see a feature, where I can join 2 areas and device them with a streight line on the PC.
Thanks for your valuable suggestions! Regarding the straight line feature, it’s currently under development, and you can expect it in future updates. As for the web app, we apologize, but due to limited development resources and safety considerations, it’s not our top priority at the moment and may not be addressed in the short term. Regarding the addition of specific mowing paths, we will pass your suggestion to our product team for further evaluation. Thank you for your understanding and support, and we will continue working on improving the product!
@Yarbo-Forum what is the anticipated cadence of releases? I’m not trying to nail down any timeline on any one feature or request, but does Team Yarbo have a goal set for releases?
Generally, we aim to have a release sprint after every 2-3 development sprints. While the exact timing for each release may vary, as we continuously optimize and address any bugs based on testing, this approach helps us maintain steady progress and ensure quality with each update.
We appreciate your patience and support as we work on improving Yarbo!
With their release cadence it seems to me that they are using Waterfall not Agile. I could be wrong but those are large gaps between releases if they are using an Agile methodology.
