Hi all. My first post here, and yes I did try search first before posting. I didn’t have a lot of luck finding any answers. I don’t want to mount the DC on my house / roof, after seeing all the issues with needing to be within 10 feet of the unit to make changes or updates, solidified that for me. I want to mount the unit on the top of my shed. It has power. I am thinking that I can extend my WiFi mesh out to the shed with another mesh router and plug the DC into that. Has anyone done that type of setup? I am wondering if there were any challenges?
Many have done this. There are no issues as long as your WiFi connection is stable. Just makes sure the DC has a clear 120 degree unobstructed view of the sky.
